Es ist schon schwierig genug, den Begriff Intelligenz zu definieren. Noch schlimmer wird es, wenn man über Bewusstsein spricht. Intuitiv hängen Bewusstsein und Intelligenz irgendwie zusammen. Kann es Intelligenz ohne Bewusstsein geben, Bewusstsein ohne Intelligenz? In jedem Fall lohnt es sich, sich mit Versuchen zur wissenschaftlichen Erforschung von Bewusstsein auseinander zu setzen und daraus Impulse zum Thema Intelligenz zu gewinnen. Und wenn die Wissenschaft versagt, kann man immer noch Spaß daran haben ein persönliches Verständnis für Bewusstsein zu entwickeln.

In jeder Software stecken externe Komponenten. Oft wird vergessen, dass diese weiterentwickelt werden und deshalb regelmäßig Updates im eigenen Projekt vorgenommen werden müssen. Die Prozedur ist immer riskant, zeitaufwendig und von außen unsichtbar. Aber mit der richtigen Einstellung werden Updates zur Routine und die Software bleibt gepflegt und allzeit bereit für innovative Weiterentwicklung.

Wir können uns Gesichter oder Namen nicht immer merken, wir vergessen die Butter beim Einkaufen, oder den Grund warum wir gerade in die Küche gegangen sind. Wie schön wäre es, wenn wir etwas wie ein Festplatte im Kopf hätten, die nichts vergisst! Aber würde uns das wirklich helfen?

Wahrnehmung ist gewissermaßen der Input für unser Gehirn und damit eng verknüpft mit Intelligenz allgemein. Möchte man also Intelligenz per Computer nachbilden, muss man sich auch mit diesem Thema auseinandersetzen. Und dabei stellt man fest, dass sogar die Definition der Aufgabe knifflig ist und nur im Zusammenhang mit weiteren kognitiven Prozessen verstanden werden kann.
